Henry Lewis, one of the writers, reveals, 'We felt there was a lot more we could do with it, so we were really excited to come back to it.' One big change, and this is a first for them, is that audiences will get to witness the Cornley players' rehearsals, where the magic happens before the show begins. Lewis explains, 'By showing the rehearsal, we can lay the groundwork for the jokes that require detailed set-up.' For instance, if you've seen two actors arguing or an actor struggling with an emotional scene, the subsequent comedic moments will be even funnier. The Cornley group of actors was first introduced in 'The Play That Goes Wrong' in 2012, winning the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy Play. Since then, the writers have crafted several acclaimed shows, including 'Peter Pan Goes Wrong' and 'Comedy About a Bank Robbery'. But what's their secret? Jonathan Sayer, another writer, says, 'You wonder why they’re still trying to put on productions when they always mess up, but there’s a sense of home they have with one another.
